#184 - I'm Experiencing Severe Physical Pain
Volume 1 - Prayers to Love God

Dear Father, I am experiencing severe pain. It is depilating and immobilizing. It is leg pain, foot pain, arm pain, hand pain, back pain, abdominal pain, chest pain, neck pain, or tooth pain. It is a migraine headache. A person who cannot sit still, walk, or lay down without severe pain is a person who cannot focus on their spiritual or emotional issues. They just want relief from the pain. The pulsating pain commands their every conscious thought. Father, I believe there was a reason why Jesus Christ attended so much to people's physical ailments. Their pain made it difficult for them to deal with their spiritual condition. The people believed that Jesus was the Son of God and that He could take away their pain. Once their pain was addressed, Jesus dealt with their spiritual condition, calling them to repentance. Father, I believe You have compassion upon those whose physical pain is severe. Please do a medical miracle this very hour - take away the severity of my pain. Ease it up. Give me some comfort. May my grateful and thankful soul then focus on my relationship with You. May I confess my rebellion from You. May I confess I have doubted You. May I confess I have worshipped other gods. May I ask for forgiveness in the name of Jesus Christ, who paid the penalty for my rebellion. May I surrender my life to You. May the Holy Spirit bear fruit in my heart, demonstrated by my love for others. Father, when this crisis has subsided, may I share my testimony of the miracle of physical and spiritual healing You have done in my life. Amen.
