#348 - I Am a Drug Seller
Volume 1 - Prayers to Love God

Dear Father, I am a drug seller. There are several reasons I ended up like this. Friends in my neighborhood. Sibling lifestyles. Boredom. Rebellion from authority. A job opening when the drug supplier went to prison. Gang-related peer pressure. Father, every day I live with the threat of violence from my suppliers, customers, and competitors. Every day I live with the threat of the police arresting me and sending me to prison for a long time. Every day I live with business issues of supply and demand and cost effectiveness (selling the lowest quality drugs at the highest price). Every day I live with the possibility my customer might die (which will fall on me) if they don't use the drugs carefully. Every day I must be high on the drugs myself, trying to work without sleep to keep up with the demand. Father, this is no way to live. I deserve this because I am peddling rebellion from You. My customers are finding comfort, strength, and hope in the drugs I give them instead of finding comfort, strength, and hope in You. I'm actively supporting a community of people who are all trying to be little gods themselves, striving to acquire and exercise ultimate power over others. Father, I want to be freed from this nightmare. I want to stop living in danger. I want to have the peace of mind that comes from the right relationship with You. I want to feel loved and cared for by Your people. Father, I confess my drug dealing is rebellion from You. Help me to give up this lifestyle. Help me to stop hurting people, leading them away from You. Father, spare my life. Spare the lives of my customers. Turn me into a man or woman who honors Jesus Christ. Give me a wonderful story of transformation by the Holy Spirit. Amen.
