#370 - Beautiful Weather
Volume 1 - Prayers to Love God

Dear Father, today is a beautiful day. I am confident that You enjoy us having fun when the weather is perfect. It is a day of relief, relief from dreary, oppressive, or fearful weather. It is a day of hope, a reminder that there will be beautiful days ahead for all who suffer in the momentary storms of this life. Father, help us to be grateful for this day. Help us to see Your glory through the things we encounter when we are drawn outdoors. Lead us to take a few minutes to smell the roses or sit beside a babbling brook. Teach us in those moments little lessons about life in the world that You created. Father, we also know that bad weather is ahead. Give us confidence that a day such as today will come again. You enjoy us enjoying the good things You've created us to enjoy. Amen.
