Why is an author giving away his books for free?
God took a broken and insecure man, worked on his heart and mind, and put him to work in prayer ministry. Texts. Emails. Social media. Phone calls. Face -to-face. God is opening more and more opportunities for me to pray with people in their time of need.
In fact, on February 2, 2018, I received a request to call and pray with a complete stranger in a hospital whose wife was receiving bone marrow surgery. The experience accelerated a thought process I already had been considering - give away full on-line access to my two-volume book, Take Every Thought to Prayer.
On February 10, my wife, Karen, and I decided to make the book fully available on-line to anyone. No purchase or login required. I will invite churches, ministries, and Christian counselors across America to add this website to their toolbox of resources for people searching for hope and understanding.
My number one mission in life is to encourage believers to share their testimonies on church websites. Making this book available for free creates awareness of my mission and opportunities to build momentum for the cause. A percentage of those who are blessed by these prayers will purchase print copies for themselves or loved ones. Church leaders will purchase print copies for group studies within the congregation. Lord willing, more books will be published in the future.
