#655 - I Need Other People Speaking in to My Life
Volume 2 - Prayers to Love Our Neighbor

Dear Father, there are things I cannot possibly know about myself. I don't know what it's like to be a friend of mine. I've never been a friend of mine, someone other than me wondering what in the world is going on in my head. I don't know what it's like being someone else trying to understand my quirky sayings, odd behaviors, shifting moods, tone of voice, or body language. Other people may see the good in me that I don't see. Other people may see the bad in me that I don't see. Who's going to correct how I see myself? Other people. Therefore, I need people speaking into my life. Godly people. Wise people. Mature people. Emotionally stable people. I need people who truly are led by the Holy Spirit to guide how I perceive myself. Father, please bring those people into my life, get them talking, and give me discernment to know who I should listen to. Amen.
