#322 - Emergency Repairs
Volume 1 - Prayers to Love God

Dear Father, we don't know what a day may bring. A broken water pipe. Wind damage. A small fire. A fender bender. A cracked tooth. We go to bed thinking tomorrow will be as routine as today. Father, in truth, it is a rare day when something doesn't go wrong. It is strange in life when everything goes right. Good fortune can make our head spin as we don't know how to process it. This is a broken world. Things crack. Things break. Things rust. Things weaken over time and use. People install things wrong. People make mistakes. People skip key steps. People use cheaper material. People text while driving. We get cavities. Father, we should be prepared that things are going to break. It doesn't mean life is cruel. It doesn't mean You hate us. It does mean that this world is not heaven. Father, help me calmly respond to the emergency repairs that will come into my life. Help me be still and know that You are God. Things will work out. They will get repaired. The repairs will be paid for. We will survive the temporary disruption from our routine. Father, thank You for every emergency repair. Help me resolve this day the emergency repairs I must deal with. Things will be fine. Thank You. Amen.
