#161 - I'm A Victim of Fraud
Volume 1 - Prayers to Love God

Dear Father, I trusted people. They have taken advantage of me. Defrauded me. Cheated me. I believed them when they said they cared about me. Their intention was to steal from me what little I had. I feel so naive. Father, this is the modus operandi of the devil himself. Deceit. Falsehoods. His words seem genuinely and authentically generous and noble. His true motives are monstrous. Father, who can I trust? There is no one who does good. No not one. We all are rebels from You. There is no one who can be trusted because all of us have lived to be our own god. However, those who have been transformed by the Holy Spirit can be trusted. They have confessed their sin and asked for forgiveness from You. They show the fruits of their walk with You, including love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, and faith. If You have transformed their hearts in such a manner, I can be confident that they love truth. Father, forgive the person who defrauded me. Lead them to give me restitution so that they can enjoy closure to their crime against me. Love them, Father. Help me to heal from this experience. Make me a person who can always be trusted. Amen.
