#181 - I Lack a Good Education
Volume 1 - Prayers to Love God

Dear Father, I lack a good education. I grew up in a country without a good educational system. I could not afford college because of my family's poverty. I could not afford college because I was estranged from my family and their financial resources. I had to get a full-time job as a teen to take care of my family. I had an unanticipated pregnancy and I had to raise my child. I was overwhelmed by the problems of my childhood and I dropped out of school. I committed a crime, blocking my pursuit of an education. I lacked confidence to pursue a degree because of the scars from my family dysfunction. I have had only low-paying jobs. Father, I am asking for deliverance. I know step one is confession and repentance. I must get my heart right with You. I've tried to be my own god, doubting You, and worshipping other things. Please forgive me in the name of Jesus Christ. Help me, through the compassion of mentors and benefactors, to get the education and the skills I need. May I have such incredible wisdom from You that it opens doors normally closed to those without a college education. Thank You. Amen.
