#237 - Help Me Find Balance
Volume 1 - Prayers to Love God

Dear Father, I can't find a balance in my life. I have too much of this and too little of that. I focus all my attention in one area and neglect other areas altogether. I don't know how to juggle multiple priorities. I go from one task to another but never make any substantial progress. Father, I've bitten off more than I can chew. I've taken on too many things. People pleasing has something to do with it. Seeking my own glory has something to do with it. Idolizing things of this world has something to do with it. Father, You want good character far above accomplishment. You would rather my life be unproductive, from a worldly standpoint, if You were pleased by the growth of my character. You assess my life by how I react to situations. Am I loving? Am I joyful? Am I peaceful? Am I patient? Am I kind? Am I good? Am I faithful? Am I gentle? Do I have self-control? Father, the balance I need in my life is to focus on the growth of my character. My primary objective must be to become like Jesus Christ. You will sort out the priorities in my life. You will prioritize the tasks before me. Father, help me find balance in my life by living each moment to emulate Jesus Christ. Everything else will fall into place. You want those who seek to honor Your Son to have fruitful and productive lives. You'll make sure of it. Amen.
