Volume 1 - Prayers to Love God

Dear Father, thank You for the place I will sleep tonight. Thank You that I can close my eyes and feel safe. Many in this world cannot. Many sleep with one eye open as they fear exposure to the elements or being a victim of crime. Father, even in a place of safety, my sleep is not certain. I may be hungry or ill. I may be anxious. Father, I ask for the gift of sleep tonight. Restful sleep. Refreshing sleep. Watch over me and keep danger away from me. I know that I should not assume I will awake in the morning. Therefore, I ask that I wake up tomorrow morning for another day. Amen.
