#307 - I'm Having Difficulty with My Supervisor
Volume 1 - Prayers to Love God

Dear Father, I am having difficulty with my supervisor. Quite frankly, they are a jerk. I work for a petty little tyrant. They love to domineer. They love to yell and scream. They are incredibly immature. They don't know how to manage. They don't inspire. They don't give instructions. They use fear as a motivation, continuously threatening to fire us. They give my coworkers and I a huge workload, demand we work extra hours, and won't pay us any extra. Their own work is shoddy; that is when they come into the office. They lie to their supervisor about our work. They shoot down all our ideas. The only reason my coworkers and I feel like a team is because we share an intense frustration about our boss. Father, what am I supposed to do about this? Do I quit? I want to. Do I complain to their boss? That will only cause more trouble. What do I do? Father, the answer that comes to me is that this person is in my life for You to grow my character. You knew full well who I would have to deal with when I took this job. In Your wisdom, You decided I needed to practice loving someone who is unlovable. You wanted me to practice giving my best to someone who gives me their worst. Therefore, I have such an awful boss. It is schooling for my character. Father, transform my heart and soul through the Holy Spirit so that I focus on showing them the love of Jesus Christ. Amen.
