Volume 1 - Prayers to Love God

Dear Father, it is Memorial Day. This is the day I celebrate military veterans who died so that I could enjoy freedoms. Because of their sacrifice, I have the right to free speech. I have the freedom to worship. I have the right to protect my family. I have the right to defend myself in court. I have the right to vote. This is the day to visit their graves, giving honor to the virtues of service and sacrifice for others that they exemplified. This is the day to be thankful for and compassionate to veterans, especially those who were disabled in battle. Father, thank You for the freedoms and the rights that I enjoy because of those who paid the ultimate price for them. I pray Your blessings today on all families who lost loved ones in armed conflict. May I be willing to die, if necessary, to get the word of hope of the freedom we have in Jesus Christ out to those who are lost. Amen.
