Volume 2 - Prayers to Love Our Neighbor

Dear Father, my friend needs my transparency. He or she is confused about life. They are confused about themselves. They don't know up from down or left from right. They don't know what is the right thing to think or the right thing to do. Father, they probably think they are the only one who feels like that. They probably feel like everyone around them has their act together. They are intimidated. Therefore, they keep their confusion locked inside. Father, they need me to be transparent. They need me to share my own insecurities. They need me to talk about my confusion and the chaos in my mind. Such transparency will comfort them. They are not alone. They will feel safe to share and to talk. When they share, I may be able to help them. Father, help me to be a better friend by being willing to share my own weaknesses and uncertainties. Amen.
