#593 - Visitation of Children
Volume 2 - Prayers to Love Our Neighbor

Dear Father, my ex-spouse and I need to work out a visitation arrangement for the children. I ask for forgiveness that we put our children through this. They are not at fault for this divorce. They are the victims of it. They deserve to have a relationship with both of their parents. Father, it is my responsibility, as a loving parent, to make sure my children get to spend enough time with both of their parents. I pray that my ex-spouse and I can agree to a visitation schedule without the need for a court order. I ask that our communications after the divorce can be civil, giving our children peace and stability. Father, the children deserve to have grandparents in their life. I pray that my ex-spouse and I can agree to a visitation schedule for our parents as well. Father, if a mediator needs to get involved, I pray for a just and fair decision that is best for the children. If my spouse was abusive to the children but they still want to spend time with them, I pray for the right adult supervision of the visits, protecting the children. I pray that my ex-spouse and I will be faithful to spend both quality and quantity time with the children. Fun time. Talk into the night time. Teaching time. Training time. Prayer time. Time in the Word. Time doing what our children enjoy doing. Father, I ask for forgiveness of my rebellion from You. Help me to surrender my life to You so that I can be cooperative parent for my children. Amen.
