#257 - Help Me Manage My Time - Part 1
Volume 1 - Prayers to Love God
Dear Father, time is a precious gift. Thank You for it. If a man or woman lives to be 80 years old, they have lived around 29,000 days, 701,000 hours, 42 million minutes, and 2.5 billion seconds. That's a lot of time. That's time to honor You. That's time to turn our lives around. That's time to make a difference in other people's lives. However, I may die this time tomorrow. I may have only 1 day, 24 hours, 1,440 minutes, and 86,400 seconds to live. Tick. Tick. Tick. Time is passing even now. Tick. Tick. Tick. Father, what would be my priorities if this were my last day? - I'd make things right with You. I'd confess my rebellious heart. I tried to live my life as my own god. I did whatever I wanted to when I wanted to. I doubted Your character, God. I worried. I worshipped other things. I felt my life would be great if only I had this or that. I have been a rebel. Please forgive me. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was sent down to earth to become a man, to follow Your law perfectly, and to die on the cross for my rebellion. He took on the wrath I deserved. He rose again from the dead so that He can represent me before You, telling You that I never rebelled against You. I have personally trusted in His work on the cross to forgive me. - After I made things right with You on my last day, I'd make things right with my loved ones. I'd seek forgiveness. I'd express my heartfelt and genuine love for them. I'd encourage them to walk with You the rest of their lives. Father, may this day be a blessing to Your Kingdom and to the people You have given me to serve. Amen.
