Volume 1 - Prayers to Love God

Dear Father, I used to think that only a weak person receives counseling. I've now learned that the opposite is true. It takes courage and strength of character to go into a counselor's office and admit Your insecurities, weaknesses, and failings. It takes courage to want to heal, recover, and grow. Many people refuse to acknowledge they need help because of their pride. They hold to every shred of hope that they are invincible. They are afraid to confront their inner demons. These individuals are not strong. They are weak. Father, help me to be vulnerable and transparent with a godly counselor. Help me to battle, to exhaustion if necessary, my rebellion from You. Help me to rise to my feet, a man or woman of God, ready to serve You.
