Dear Father, Your everlasting home is pure. Before I can enter, I need to take a bath. My clothes need to be cleaned. How do I get cleaned? The blood of Jesus Christ must wash away the stain of rebellion in my heart. After taking His shower, I can enter Your Kingdom clean and pure. I can approach You and receive a warm hug from You. I will not tarnish anything in Your home. Father, I will be baptized today. It is symbolic of the spiritual cleansing that I have enjoyed by accepting Jesus Christ as my Savior. May my baptism strengthen my resolve to surrender my life to You. Lead a witness to my baptism into a personal relationship with You. Amen.
