Dear Father, we have rebelled against our Creator. We have rebelled against our loving, compassionate, kind, and generous God. How dare we? We deserve extermination. However, You are a merciful God. You have provided an escape from Your wrath. His name is Jesus Christ. He stood in for us and took your wrath on Himself. Only the Son of God could withstand the wrath of God. Father, Your wrath is fierce, deadly, and deserved. However, Your mercy is even greater. Father, I place my faith in Jesus Christ today. He is the one who bore the wrath of God that I deserved. Thank You for providing Him in your deep love for me. Amen.
