#33 - They Are Looking Down from Heaven - Part 1
Volume 1 - Prayers to Love God

Dear Father, may no one say after my death that I am looking down upon my loved ones from heaven. Father, I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. When I die, I'm going to be with You. I won't want to do anything but gaze upon Your majesty and holiness. I'll be with the God of the universe. I'll be with my Creator. I'll see You in all Your glory. Am I going to turn my head back towards earth? Am I going to watch my nephew's high school football game from heaven? No. I'm going to be praising You and rejoicing in the freedom from my previously sinful heart and mind. I'm going to be celebrating freedom from any more human suffering. Father, believing that people can be with God almighty but turn their hearts back to the affairs of earth speaks of our rebellious hearts. We value this world that much. We believe that life on earth is so much more important than Your Kingdom. It is no wonder we have all the problems we have. We don't see ourselves as citizens of a far better place. Father, help me to look forward to seeing You face-to-face and dwelling in Your Kingdom. May my treasures be in heaven and not on this earth. Amen.
