#399 - It's My Birthday
Volume 1 - Prayers to Love God

Dear Father, today is my birthday. You are the God who knows all things. You knew everything about me before I was conceived. You knew what I would think, do, and say at every age of my life. You knew how I would rebel from You. You knew I would live to be my own god. I would do what I want when I wanted to do. You knew I would often doubt You. You knew I would worship other things more than You. Father, You had the choice to say to Yourself, "Never mind. He or she will be nothing but trouble. I won't bother to create them." However, knowing my rebellious heart and the messy life that would result from that rebellion, You went ahead and created me anyway. Father, that can only mean one thing - You deeply want a personal relationship with me. You made me for Yourself. You want to know me, walk with me, talk with me, provide for me, and protect me. You want to be my God. Father, my birthday is a celebration of Your unending and unconditional love. Thank You. May I celebrate about all the years You have loved me. Amen.
